Do guys give up on girls after they give into sex too early?

basically, ive known this guy all year from college but we never spoke.about 2 weeks ago he asked for my number and we got to chatting and went on a date, we kissed etc and held hands from like 3 hours into the date. we met up again after college a few days later and went round his, we just kissed etc that day too... then we met again the other day and well.. we were in town together then went back to his. i got him like sexually frustrated (by accident!i just got into the moment too much)and then like, we ending up having sex. but i stayed with him for a while after and he gave me a lift home. i met him at college again and we went for a walk together and he kissed me, he tells me he really likes me and stuff he just doesnt text me that much and i get worried hes got disinterested with me cos i gave it up too early. i really wish i hadnt it was just the heat of the moment. what can i do to make him more interested if hes not, hes suggested we meet up tommorow. the thing is, he hasnt formally "asked" me to be his girlfriend we just act like a couple. how can i ask him if were actually dating or what without freaking him out or pushing him away? thanksss x
