How to get a 2 year old to listen and how to scold them?

ive never had this problem before at any of the other places i have worked at. but my new job there is this one two year old who doesnt listen to me at all. he doesnt even turn his head when i saw his name! when the teacher leaves he cries and screams and acts up the other kids who are listening and behaving. hes always glued to the teachers hip he never wants me to help him or do anything with/to him at all it has to be the teacher... idk what to do anymore i feel as though ive tried everything i possibly could!! he doesnt do this to the teacher and he doesnt do this to anyone else either! i am the assistant and the other children are fine with me! i get so very frustrated and it get to the point of by the end of the week i am so stressed out i am so emotional over everything that goes on even if its something little! if someone can help me out with some advice n etc that would be great. thanks!!!
