DC Universe Online Help!!!?

OK I know I am not the only person that has encountered this problem before, so I am hoping someone can help me find a solution...I have bought the game off of steam, put in my activation code, paid my subscription, and updated all the DirectX, Flash Player, and Java crap they wanted me to update to play the game. I installed the launchpad and tried to run the game, but when I do the launch screen with the "SOE" logo comes up for like 5 seconds then it just closes down and doesn't let me play. This is extraordinarily frustrating. I have made sure my firewall isn't blocking it and all that good stuff, I have uninstalled and reinstalled it like 3 times. Does anyone have a real, working solution that can help me fix this problem so i can actually play my $40 dollar game?
