Okay, I know we asked for this but...?

Last weekend my best friend and I were involved in an incident where we got handcuffed together and the key was nowhere to be found. It was frustrating at first, but we eventually made the most of it. It was even kind of fun, in fact! Seeing the looks on people's faces in particular was priceless. My friend is sleeping over this weekend (arrived yesterday morning) and we decided to relive the experience. Only we decided we wanted to see what being cuffed together for the whole weekend with no way out would be like. So we put the key in an envelope, addressed it to my house, and put it out with the mail. But here's the thing, we just realized that tomorrow is Independence Day, so there won't be any mail! Argh! The whole being handcuffed thing is already getting tiring and I don't know if we can take another day. I know we did this to ourselves (even my parents aren't sympathetic). But any advice on how to deal with this situation?
