How do I go Mumbai airport to Mumbai CST?

I am to come to the city international airport from another country by plain.In Mumbai I take a train "Mumbai-Calcutta".For this I need to come to local trains stations.Prevoiusly(twice by now)I went to Andheri local train station by rikshaw,going from it to the CST station & there took my train .However,my sources tell me of a better way to travel-going not to Andheri,but to "Vile Parle" local train station,as the Parle station is closer to the airport?Is there a better way to arrive there?Vile Parle?Other way?I shall take NO rikshaw or taxi direct to CST,as my finance is limited & any economy is desirable.Thanks
